The 2009 Mercedes Benz SL65 AMG captured our attention despite arriving amongst a batch of other beautiful AMG models. It's hard not to find something to like when a car is powered by a bi-turbo V12 generating 604 horsepower and 738 foot pounds of torque. This power gets to the ground via a performance tuned 5 speed automatic and 19" wheels sporting a very wide 285/30/R19 rear tire package. This car quickly reminds you that it is not all tire-melting power as the driver and passenger will find themselves surrounded in nappa leather trimmed bolstered sport seats. With the hardtop up or down you will still know that this car has excitement at heart thanks to the tuned AMG exhaust system (regardless of how far you have depressed the power pedal.) We loved the SL65 AMG, and believe it could take a place of prestige in the stable of any car aficionado.
